Description
Shop for bespoke treasures and gifts while watching artists and craftspeople busy at work…
Sherwood Forest Arts and Craft Centre lies in the heart of ancient Sherwood Forest, in the beautifully converted coach house and stables of the former Edwinstowe Hall.
The atrium and courtyard is home to a variety of artists and craftspeople selling a unique array of items including textiles, fossils and gemstones, paintings, copper artefacts, candles, fabric crafts, paper crafts, hand crafted chocolate, handmade soap and jewellery.
The Centre is very much a working arts and craft hub where visitors can see workers putting the finishing touches to the many original gifts and products. Throughout the year there is also a variety of special events to make a visit even more memorable, including themed weekends and family activities.
Visitors can enjoy a picnic or choose from a mouth-watering selection of freshly cooked meals and delicious homemade cakes available at the café.
The Centre is just a short walk from the famous Major Oak, the reputed hideout of Robin Hood – making it the perfect place to spend the day with family and friends.
