Decorated with rich naturalistic stone carvings, the Leaves of Southwell are of exceptional quality and regarded as the finest example of naturalistic carving in the United Kingdom. Based on close study of local hedgerows, they depict, with great accuracy, many varieties of foliage and contain green men and creatures both real and fanciful.Visitors can explore the Minster at leisure, take advantage of the digitally recorded audio guide or book an engaging guided tour.
